Lifestyle Boutique Home Builders is a family owned business building quality homes with the future in mind.
The award-winning company is owned and run by William and Crystal Braaksma.
The couple, who have three children, live and work in their local West Gippsland community and take pride in creating quality homes for families just like theirs.
“We live and work in this area so be assured we build every house as if it was our own,“ William explained.
With Lifestyle, customers deal directly with William and Crystal throughout the entire building process. There are no sales people or supervisors at different stages.
Part of a growing network of Independent Builders- The Independent Builders Network or IBN – Lifestyle offers a library of designs to cater for all block types and styles of living. With 100 plus designs and 60 plus facades, there is an abundance of choice.
If custom design is what you are looking for, they offer concept to completion and love the variety it brings. Best of all, Lifestyle caters for split level homes and builds on stumps to minimise site costs and optimise views.
The couple is also excited about the new Adaptable Living Range- a housing product catering for the disabled, ageing, a growing family or injured by future proofing the house to be readily available for any changes life throws our way.
“We want to build homes that are flexible and adaptable by including key features now that avoid more costly home modifications at a later date.“
These features make it easier for parents to manoeuvre prams, easier to carry the shopping into the house, easier for people with a disability or temporary injury to move around and create a more spacious environment for the ageing.
Some of the practical inclusions in an Adaptable Living Home are at least one level (step-free)entrance into the dwelling and reinforced walls around the toilet, shower and bath to support the installation of grab rails anywhere at a later date, a toilet on the ground (or entry) level that provides easy access and a bathroom that has a stepless shower recess.
Crystal, who is a registered nurse, said these kinds of inclusions can make a big difference to how long people can remain in their own home in later years or as situations change.
“The aim is to facilitate living at home longer delaying the need to move to aged care, if at all.
The program offers three levels of housing – silver, gold and platinum – all of which can be NDIS approved.
“If you are looking for a builder that has core values of professionalism and respect, integrity, quality, and innovation then we are the builder for you.“
